Annual MVC Trick-o-Treat Parade

It’s That Time of Year

350 Ghost and Goblins from across the street want to parade through our hallways in search of treats! Bethune Elementary would love to bring their Pre- K thru second graders over for the Annual MVC Trick-o-Treat Parade.

Please let Cathy Edwards know if your office would like to participate in giving out treats or if you personally can assist in walking the students around the building. They will be here Friday, October 28th from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Employee Costume Contest

As if helping create a memorable experience wasn’t reason enough, here’s one more reason to dress up! The Office of Professional Development will be on the lookout for the following employee costumes (and awarding prizes of course):

  • Most Original Costume
  • Best Duo Costume
  • Best Kid-Friendly Costume
  • Best Decorated Department

What are you waiting for? Start planning your department’s decoration theme for the Trick-o-Treat parade, coordinator your costumes, and buy candy in bulk.

Schedule for Children’s Tours/Office Visits:

  • Pre K & Kinders pick up at Bethune 8:15 – have candy ready in offices at 8:30 – 9:45 a.m.
  • Need (4 staff volunteers for tours)*
  • 1st graders pick up at Bethune 9:30 – have candy ready at 9:45 – 10:45 a.m.
  • (Need 4 staff volunteers for tours)*
  • 2nd graders Pick up at Bethune 10:30 – have candy ready at 10:45 – 11:45 a.m.
  • Need (4 staff volunteers for tours)*

Important Notes:

  • A few staff volunteers needed to help escort the little ones around the building.
  • Volunteers can be in or out of costume!
  • Decorate Your Doors!
